Tyre problems rob Quaife and Hancock of strong finish

Phil Quaife and Sam Hancock were both forced to retire from race 2, following rear punctures. Quaife was classified 13th whilst Hancock did not finish the race.

Phil and Paul O'Neill battled for fifth for most of the race, but Quaife later suffered a rear puncture. Quaife had been on his way to a top five finish until the rear tyre deflated.

Hancock ran third for much of the race, but was forced into retirement with a rear puncture with four laps to go.
